Studiowhynot.org is an initiative of George Hlavacs from the Netherlands.
As a designer, he is pioneering ways to use the power and processes in our consumption society itself as a nature and climate restoration tool.

Instead of aiming for neutrality – which he considers as a sympathic step forward, but not more than trying to take distance from the collective problems of our times –  he is focusing on developing products and services with a dominantly positive environmental impact.

George Hlavacs is also a founder of the Carbon Sink Society to explore processes to remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere on a gigaton scale.
